Navratri Celebrations

During Navratri festival celebration at the school campus, the students and the staff presented garba dance. This Garba saw three generations participating, Teachers, children and their parents all were part of this footloose frenzy. And to take it to another level, the participants were all seen in colourful garba costumes.

The Principal while talking about the importance of the Garba and Navratri said that one of the measures to pray to Maa Shakti is dance and not only that dancing in the scriptures has been described as a way of meditation. Hence, garba festival was organized in the school to let our Students experience this first hand.She said that earlier garba was used to be the pride of Gujarat only. But since independence, after Gujaratis started moving out of the province, this tradition has reached to other states too, and we are grateful to that.
